Even if an idea seems strange or wildly impractical have a “yes, and” conversation for a while. Build on the idea, rather than dismiss it, and see what you come up with.
I can’t do that if I’m denying that I make mistakes in the first place. So breathe and open your heart. You might be surprised by how a little discomfort can fuel your growth.
Avoiding the discomfort or conflict guarantees that we -- and the system as a whole -- stay the same. And, if we’ve learned nothing else from this past year – we know that things CANNOT stay the same.
