Getting Started in the Community

Thanks for being part of the Defy the Trend Community of leaders who want to be more connected, curious and courageous.

You’ll be able to find all you need in Podia — the online platform that houses your downloadable resources and courses, the Defy the Trend Community discussions, reminders for events, etc. Why Podia? I’ve chosen to use this platform in part because it gets us away from more public social media spaces that push advertising and keep you doom scrolling. It also ensures a higher level of privacy.

Create a  podia account, or log into your existing one. (When you signed up, you should have gotten an invitation.) You‘ll see a page like this. That is the community forum.

Click on “All Topics”👆🏻 in the bottom left and make sure that you are following the two birthday month topics. That way you will get email reminders when there are posts in those topics.

You can also choose how you want to get email notifications from the forum. Just follow the linked directions.
