You are likely exhausted, frustrated, afraid and grieved because of the chaos of the past 18 months. You’re probably tired of videoconferenced gatherings. That’s OK. Bring it all here.

Description:

Join us for a three-hour retreat to defiantly gather: Leaning into the fears, frustrations, exhaustion and grief in order to heal through creativity, find our purpose and discover how we might serve our communities in this time of chaos.

This event is for anyone who wants to transform themselves and their communities, especially:

  • Artists looking to find inspiration
  • Religious/spiritual communities trying to make meaning
  • Community leaders and activists needing to recharge
  • People in the middle of or contemplating job changes
  • Mental health support groups

The gathering will move between the larger group online session and a small group experience that can gather virtually online or in person in your own home or community space, depending on your comfort level. At least one online small group will be led by a person of color to create safe space for PoC participants.

In the gathering, you will experience:

  • Stories of healing through creativity
  • Deeply relaxing mindfulness practices
  • Creative practices that will help you make meaning
  • Small group discussion and activities

You are exhausted, and that is exactly WHY you should gather.  You need to satisfy that primal yearning to connect with creative spirits who want to make meaning — and change — in the chaos.
